Journal of Church History is the journal of the ”Nicolae Bocşan” Institute of Ecclesiastical History that is part of the Faculty of History and Philosophy of the Babeş-Bolyai University. It is a peer-reviewed academic journal addressing specialists in church history.

Journal of Church History is an open-access journal issued biannually, and it is published exclusively online. Articles are published in the following languages: English, French, Italian, and Romanian. They should be accompanied by a summary and five-seven keywords in English. Studies/articles/book reviews are accepted for publishing after a strict selection process.

Journal of Church History is edited by the ”Nicolae Bocşan” Institute of Ecclesiastical History, and it is published by the Babeş-Bolyai University.
